Board of Directors

Meridian Trust is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected from and by our membership. The Board oversees the operations of the credit union and ensures the safety and security of members’ funds. The Board works in conjunction with credit union employees to ensure exceptional service, competitive products, and continuing dedication to our members through the promise we make every day to provide: personal connections, simple solutions and lifetime relationships.

Current Directors include:

  • Buck McVeigh, Chairman, term expires 2013
  • Dean Fausset, Vice Chairman, term expires 2011 
  • Ann Barrett, Secretary, term expires 2011
  • Martin Pedersen, Treasurer, term expires 2012
  • Brenda Arnold, term expires 2012
  • Bill Gentle, term expires 2013
  • Jerry Krois, term expires 2012      

Supervisory Committee

The Board of Directors appoints members to serve on the Supervisory Committee. This committee works with the Credit Union to ensure the security of members’ funds by conducting regular audits and researching member concerns.

The five volunteer members of this committee meet monthly. Current members include:

  • Kelly Willmarth
  • Loren Simnitt
  • Marci Norby
  • Bob Beavers

Asset Management Liability Committee

The Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) is comprised of a combination of management and volunteers who ensure that Meridian Trust’s financial performance is maintained.

Meridian Trust is proud to be a financial cooperative owned and operated by its members for over 50 years. Our members, the owners make use a strong and competitive financial institution and their dedication to the Credit Union is exemplified in their willingness to volunteer.
